Synopsis

CATWOMAN DIES PART 1 Blitzkrieg speaks to the camera as a little girl (named Amanda) sits, bound and gagged, in the background of her webcast. Amanda is going to die, and there's nothing anyone can do about it. And there's no reason why this girl in particular was chosen. This is about Blitzkrieg, who is (she claims) the newest, baddest villain in Gotham. Not Amanda.  Catwoman races across the city, through the rain, to save Amanda in time. She lands on the skylight of the building where Blitzkrieg is holding her, and she takes in the scene briefly before the glass cracks and she falls through into the room. Blitzkrieg asks if she has any last words for her viewers, and Catwoman says she has four: "Let the girl go."   Catwoman tackles Blitzkrieg to the ground and yanks at her hair, and Blitzkrieg blasts her away with her power gloves. She tells Catwoman that she bought the gloves from an all-female terrorist cell and that she planned to call herself "Bombshell" before remembering that was already taken. But the German sounds ominous, anyway. Holly is still on the ground as Blitzkrieg looms over her, and to distract her from Amanda, she spits in her face. Blitzkrieg grabs Catwoman by the cat-ear and decides that killing her first won't harm her street cred.   Catwoman is unconscious and bound to a chair as Blitzkrieg tells her viewers that before she kills Amanda, she'll unmask and murder Catwoman. She pulls off her mask to reveal Holly Robinson, who comes to as her mask is pulled free. Holly thinks quickly and blurts out the address of Blitzkrieg's hideout. The East End Precinct mobilizes, led by Detective Lenahan.   Blitzkrieg is smiling. Holly thinks she's smart, but all she did was speed things up. She dies now, then the girl. Blitzkrieg raises her power glove and sends a blast at Holly just as Holly pushes her chair forwards. The chair is hit and bursts apart, but not Holly, who is freed. Holly is injured, though, and Blitzkrieg says that while she's lying there, whimpering in pain, she can watch Blitzkrieg kill her little friend.   Holly grabs hold of a jagged chair leg and hits Blitzkrieg across the back. Holly punches Blitzkrieg repeatedly, remembering what Wildcat told her--Never stop punching until you're sure, absolutely sure they're not getting back up again. Blitzkrieg lies unconscious on the ground as Holly stands over her. Then Holly kicks her and says to Amanda, "Let's get you home."   Lenahan is waiting outside with his precinct when Catwoman emerges from the building with Amanda. Amanda is swept away by an EMT while Lenahan grabs Catwoman by the shoulder and says, "Long time no see," before cuffing her. He'd thought Catwoman was smart, but then she had to come by a crime scene she knew he'd be at. Catwoman says it didn't even cross her mind. She was too busy worrying about Amanda. Lenahan doesn't believe her and refers to Blitzkrieg as her "playmate."   The apartment above them explodes, sending two cops flying out the window. Catwoman tells Lenahan he can keep her cuffed, but he should remember that she was the one who took out Blitzkrieg in the first place. He uncuffs her.   Catwoman goes back into the apartment building where Blitzkrieg greets her, smiling. She caught Blitzkrieg by surprise before, but that won't happen again. "Are you sure about that?" Lenahan asks as he points his gun at her temple. He had snuck up on her from the side. He bets she can't move faster than he can move his index finger. He pistol-whips her unconscious and tells Catwoman to pull off her power gloves.   Catwoman and Lenahan are distracted from their conversation about Catwoman's own charges when the building shakes. They look up to find Hammer and Sickle standing by the skylight. Sickle dives down at Catwoman while she and Lenahan run.   Lenahan decides he's had it with these people and turns around to confront Sickle. He is partway through his rant about the insanity of people in costume when Sickle slices his head off his shoulders. Catwoman stares in horror at her bloody sickle as Sickle says, "Now before you start screaming, child, be honest... You wanted him to shut up as much as I did."   Calculator watches Catwoman's fight with Hammer and Sickle on his computer. He tries to tell the other Catwoman what's going on, but their phone call is interrupted when Warp approaches her on a rooftop and says she has something that belongs to him.   Catwoman hangs up, but Warp has disappeared... only to reappear beside her and kick her, sending her skidding across the rooftop. He warps here and there as he beats her, but on one warp, Catwoman grabs hold of him and pulls him to the ground, telling him his device didn't even work properly. She holds her claws to his eyes and tells him to teleport her to Calculator's or he'd be traveling blind. She leaves the snow-globe on the roof, but they quickly teleport back for it.   Calculator welcomes her home. Warp threatens her, but Calculator tells him that he won't kill her for this. She has just done Calculator a favor. If Warp did kill her, then Calculator would upload all the information he has on him to every superhero group, law enforcement agency, and tabloid publication in the world. Warp angrily teleports away.   Catwoman gives Calculator the snow-globe, and he wipes Holly's record from the Gotham City Police Department database. But she's far from in the clear. Like he was trying to tell her earlier, Holly is currently at the mercy of Hammer and Sickle.
